Preparation

Hello every one :)

This past week I have been doing some stuff to get prepared for the Music at Midsummer Festival and my travels. I am currently working on making cutouts of my windows for my car so that I have covers for whenever I sleep in there. I am using cardboard that I get from my work so that it isn’t just tossed out. What I am doing to make the cutouts is I roll down the windows and I hold the cardboard up to the window and trace the outline of the window. For the windows that can’t be rolled down I am using pieces of paper that are big enough to cover the window and I am pushing them into the creases and then using a sharpie to follow along the line so I can cut it out. Once I get my cutouts made I will use black paint and/or black tape to darken one side of the pieces so that if someone were to look into the car all they would see is darkness. I am also going to make a handle out of tape for the opposite side so that the pieces can be easily taken in and out. As for my wind shield I am just going to buy a sun reflector.

I am still in the process of getting rid of things I don’t need. I just sold my tattoo equipment and I am also gathering things to take and donate or pass out so that I am only taking what I need. For seasonal clothes I currently have my winter clothes in 2 containers that will fit well and won’t take up much space in my car. Today I will be setting up a new 4 person tent to see what I am working with. The new tent will be replacing my old 1 person tent so that way I will be able to camp more comfortably. I have also ordered some books by Dr. Joe Dispenza that I have been listening to so that I will be able to re-read them at any point and I will be taking a handful of others books that have had a profound impact on me.

Recently I have been hanging out with some absolutely wonderful people. We have gone swimming and jumping at Lake Jocassee. I’ve been thrifting and found some really awesome shorts especially since I have been needing some more pairs. I got to see some friends play their final shows which was very beautiful and I got to boogie with lots of great people and even meet some new friends! I also showed some friends to this swimming hole they’d never been too and we had a great time and had some very deep and meaningful conversations. It was a wonderful experience and we even ran into a great friend of mine. After that we went by the store and bought all sorts of different ingredients for dinner. We made fried eggplant, kale crisp, vegan chili, green (mushrooms, broccoli, garbonzo beans, avocado, kale, might be missing one or two things) and campfire baked beans. It was one of the most delicious meals I’ve ever had and it only cost $60 in total, fed 6 people and we even had leftovers.

Everything is wonderful and has been going so well. I have been experiencing daily synchronicities and events that are taking me closer to my goals. Much love to you all and thank you for stopping by!! I will see you next time :)
